There’s no point building a new community if there’s no way to get to and from it.That’s why one of the first thing we did at Westbrook was build a brand new railway station. Opened in June 2015, Tarneit station has already become one of the most important on the V/Line network.
Located in the heart of the Westbrook community, this modern transport hub provides residents with direct train access to Melbourne and Geelong. There is space for over 900 cars (though a car is hardly necessary when you live next to the station), plus a major bus interchange and taxi rank. The very latest in safety and platform amenities means every traveller is well and truly looked after.
Educated choice
Westbrook is home to Victoria’s newest school! Bemin Secondary College opened in Term 1, 2024.
With both a junior and senior campus, up to 1,400 pupils will be able to enjoy a first class education with state-of-the-art facilities.

Plans are currently underway for the construction of Fortitude Drive Reserve with outdoor recreational facilities including athletics, hockey, running/walking tracks. As well as BBQ and picnic areas.

Coffee and Melbourne are inseparable, so we knew Westbrook needed to be able to supply that all-important caffeine fix. Buy at Westbrook and you’ll be able to stroll to your local community café, or grab a table at any number of restaurants and eateries for dinner if you don’t fancy messing up your beautiful new kitchen.

Whilst you can already walk to Tarneit Central or Tarneit Hub for your retail and dining needs from your new home, in the future Westbrook will offer residents a Major Town Centre.
