With the warmer months quickly approaching and spring in the air, snakes do become more active. Anyone who encounters a snake is advised to:
- Be aware, alert and do not approach a snake.
- Safely remove any people or pets from the area where the snake was sighted.
- Do not try to capture the snake.
- Contact the Melton City Council on 9747 7200 to report and request a professional catcher, at no cost.
