Club Tarneit: A new venue for Westbrook residents.

May 2024 in Events & Local Area

Club Tarneit, owned by the Werribee Football Club, is poised to redefine local entertainment and community hospitality.

This new venue features a range of facilities including a sports bar, a 200-seat bistro, café, and function space designed to accommodate up to 400 guests.

Development Manager at Ranfurlie Asset Management, Tim Crowe, praised the architectural and aesthetic approach taken in the design.

"It's very aesthetically pleasing, aspirational and built for success,” Tim said.

“We've used warm tones, curves and construction techniques that make it a very welcoming environment for anyone visiting.

“The clear span design in the function areas enhances visibility, avoiding interference with sight lines, which is reasonably challenging but well achieved through precise engineering."

Club Tarneit General Manager, Tanya Inkret emphasised the venue's commitment to the community.

"More than just offering exceptional services, we're dedicated to nurturing a feeling of unity and acceptance,” Tanya said.

“In collaboration with residents of Tarneit and beyond, our goal is to establish a dynamic gathering place for everyone.

"For seven years, this venue has been a labour of love, conceived by the Werribee Football Club, with the community as its beating heart."

Guests can look forward to enjoying a coffee in the double-height space of the foyer café, to dining in the bistro overlooking wetlands and Skeleton Creek.

Club Tarneit promises a new leisure destination with local employment opportunities.  Around 60+ new jobs have been created to run the venue.

Fostering employment, involvement, and providing local services all align with the broader goal of a vibrant and inclusive community space.

Meeting space that’s not booked is available for free to local community groups.

The sports bar is state-of-the-art and equipped with 20 screens, one spanning over 4 metres.

Club Tarneit is a significant investment in the local community's social and economic well-being, setting a benchmark for future developments in the area.

From Monday 27th May, the local community will have the opportunity to enjoy all the new facilities at Club Tarneit.
