We know that sometimes trying to create your dream space can be a little overwhelming. So, to make the process a little easier, here's a few pitfalls to avoid when it comes to adding the finishing touches to your interiors.
Clutter. Even if you've planned out your space and exactly what you want at the outset, when it comes to final touches people can sometimes get a little carried away and go overboard on fit out - and cost. Generally, less is definitely more!
Emotional Attachments. It's easy for homeowners to become attached to certain concepts or items and then these items get overused creating an imbalance. A new room is a chance for a new start! You can still keep some of your favourite items, but it's time to get rid of those pieces that you have been holding onto for far too long.
Over Furnishing: A room's functionality should always be a key priority. So beware of impractical accessorising and placement of items, this can impede a room's ability to function as you need it to.
