Grab your bike and challenge yourself to a backcountry gravel ride or take a tranquil stroll in Macedon’s botanic gardens.
Cellar doors near Macedon. The Macedon Ranges are dotted with boutique wineries and cellar doors. If you’re staying over a weekend, drop by Mount Towrong Vineyard, known for its rustic Italian fare or Mount Macedon Winery, where the restaurant serves up a menu focusing on seasonal local produce. If you’re planning a during the week, Hanging Rock Winery is a short drive from Macedon (open daily from 10-5pm).
